They took me to a club called Vertigo there. We had to wait half an hour to get in and within 20 minutes of entering in I got bored. Unfortunately i dont enjoy places where the music is too loud. I just wanted to enter club once to experience it and i must say everyone must once go to a club in their lifetime just to understand why people go to clubs. The idea to go there can simply be to understand other people's perspective as to why they go to clubs. Anyways since i was feeling hungry i came out and went to a Subway nearby to grab a sub.

I ordered a sub and since it was pretty late only a part of Subway was open for people to sit. A guy walks in who at first sight seemed Indian to me but then again i thought he could be an American born Indian. I was sitting and having my dinner when he asks me if he can sit at the other end of the table. I said yes and once he sat down we started chit-chatting. We didnt really exchange names. He asked me where i lived. And then he mentioned why he was living in san francisco as it was tough for him to commute to sf just to party here. Topics of our conversation ranged from is education really beneficial to about education loans to cars and what not.

I would only like to mention the interesting tidbits of the conversation. He mentioned that he did his undergraduation from Harvard and he was working in sf in the field of private equity. He told me he was making around 2 million a year. And he asked me whether i liked my job. And even before i could answer the question he said do i like to wake up every morning to go to office. And i said no sometimes i hate the fact that every morning i have to wake up and go to office. He said then i dont like my job. He asked me whether i would like to work for him and i said no since i am really not interested in the area he works in. He asked me how much i make in a year. I politely said that i wouldnt like to answer that. He said that he usually pays around 150 grand to 180 grand annually to the people who work under him. He said that he is not happy with the money he is making and he wants more.

He mentioned that if i make more money than i too can get an expensive car and have a happy life. I asked him why is he not happy since he is making lot of money. He said he wants more money so that even if he has an accident while driving a Maserati he can walk from it right away without giving a damn about the condition of the car and just buy a new one. He asked me which car did i wanted to buy and i mentioned a few brands to which he said bro those cars really wont help you with the girls. He asked me what would i like to spend my money on, something which i enjoy. So i said i am a foodie. I like to try different cuisines thus i do tend to spend extra money on food just to try different delicacies.

He told me that he took his girlfriend to some restaurant(in the bay area) because his girlfriend was nagging about that place for dinner. And just for the two of them they ended up spending around 7000$. He said the food was pretty ordinary. So he asked me if my girlfriend asked me to take her to that place would i take her? I said i would try to reason with her and tell her that i cant afford that place. He said then i will have a pissed off girlfriend. I said if she cant understand this fact that i cant afford to take her to a particular restaurant then i do not see any point of continuing my relationship with her. For him it was difficult to digest the concept that i would not take my girl friend to that restaurant and why i would let her get pissed off. He concluded by saying that i was a hypocrite and he was trying to provide a non-indian perspective to life and he hoped that i did not take any of this discussion personally. We both then left amicably.

During our conversation following song was playing in my mind:Society by Eddie Vedder. I was just reminded of my greed and how there was no end to what i wanted. The other point which i learnt was that earning more money will not make you happy beyond a certain point. I hope someday i am able to overcome my greed and hypocrisy.

Elite Education

Hey Blog how you doing? My post has been long overdue so here i am writing the post.

After receiving my Masters degree i must admit that i do feel happy and in some sense proud that i have a graduate degree. So now i belong to the small section of population of the world who possess a graduate degree. One way of looking at this could be that now i am smarter, sharper and wiser etc. Other way of looking at this might be that now i should consider this as a gift and should share it by maybe adopting the motto "Each one Teach one".

I am more concerned about the first point. I do admit that I am very happy with my masters experience at USC. As i ended up studying under world renowned professors. I studied with some of the brightest students. And last but not the least i made some friends which i hope will last for a long time to come. But inspite of all the big promises which are made by lot of graduate schools as to how this or that degree will open a doors to new and better opportunities they fail to mention that it also closes down doors to certain other opportunities. I cant really say that the opportunities you will end up losing are better than the ones currently open to you but they are still opportunities. For example after spending a lot of money on your graduation you might not be interested in less lucrative options like becoming a teacher etc etc

Secondly you tend to lose touch with common people. I mean that i might not have very much common to talk with the handy man, or the guy working at the grocery store etc. The point which i am trying to make here is that studying in a diverse environment might give you the ability to initiate a conversation with people who are from different countries but you might not be able to do small talk lets say with your barber. The problem i feel is that the higher education boasts of how it will set you on a path for success by ensuring you stay in group of people who are elite but it ends up taking you away from the common man or the average person whom you have to interact with or for whom you make products for so as to make his life easier.

Well there is a lot i have been thinking about this issue and till date i havent come up with conclusive proofs as to how it has affected me or as to how this will affect me. But i feel it is always better to be aware of such scenarios even if you dont experience them. I will keep updating this if i get a better understanding about the downside of an elite education.

The Loser

As usual, hey blog how are you? I am really sorry for not being posting regularly but i guess its time to accept the fact that i will never be regular blogger :-|

I am sure we tend to hear the word "loser" on a daily basis in some form of conversation or other. I am sure some of you will be like there is no loser in life as you lose some battles in life but there is always a war to be won. While some may say loser is the one who loses a battle or who quits. I am sure everyone have their own interpretations of the word "loser". And i am not here to debate over which is a better definition. The reason why i am writing this post is to give you an idea what this so called "loser" has to offer.

I am sure almost all of us take advice or read about people whom we consider "successful". We don't like to take advice or read about people whom we consider losers. But i have a different take on this have you ever for a moment considered the so called loser too might have some advice which can be worthwhile your time. So for example lets says you are an athlete who is going to take part in Olympics where you will run a 100m. I feel, most of us will like to take advice from the person who won the gold medal in 100m last Olympics. I am sure the guy who came first will definitely offer some invaluable advice but what about the guy who came in fourth. Have you ever considered what he might have to offer?

The guy who came in fourth will tell you what all you should NOT do if you want to win. Don't you think this also worthy of being called good advice? Sometimes i feel we don't give enough credit to people who fight till the end but still don't end up on the winning side. Even if they don't end up winning i feel their advice doesn't become any less credible. At the end of the day its all about not giving up. Some of the times these losers, they learn from their mistakes and become winners. Till the time they make the transition do give them a bit more attention and do hear what they have to say who knows what you will learn from their pearls of wisdom.

PS: This post is from a so called "loser" according to some people or from a "nobody" according to some people to a "somebody" according to some people but what is constant is the fact that it is from someone who believes in Thomas Edison's saying "I have not failed. I have just found 10000 ways which won't work".

The Journey till now: Fall 2009 to Fall 2010

Hi Blog how are you? I am doing good. As usual sorry for not updating you as regularly as i would like to but still here i am trying to make an effort. All said and done it feels great to update my Blog.

I landed here in LA on aug 5, 2009. Its been 1 year and 17days the ride till now has been full of both joys and sorrows, happy and bitter memories. But at the end of the day all of these were experiences which were part of the journey. As the saying goes what doesnt kill you only makes you stronger so i guess all of these experiences have made me stronger in their own way. One of the good things about the journey up till now was the people with whom i shared the journey. So this post is dedicated to all those people who have made my journey more eventful in their own way:

Initially when we came last year while we were settling down in our apartment we met lot of Indians living in the same building. Since we couldnt remember the names of all the people living in each apartment we used to call them by their native place for eg right across the hall lived guys from mumbai so we called them bombay guys(sorry to bal thackeray) and opposite to them lived banglore guys. All this was done for the purpose of convenience and not for being a regionalistic bastard.

Luckily for me all the people whom i met here at USC either in my apartment or in my courses from India were not the kind of people who used to discriminate on the basis of region, religion etc etc. I have had the privilege of not only knowing but also being friends with people who belong to different parts of india. During the 1 week i still remember how we started sharing food with Karthik, Sushant and Manjeet who are from down south. I dont remember what we exactly we cooked and shared with them but what i do remember is that they gave us Tandoori Chicken which was awesome. It was at their place where i cooked chicken for the first time. And then it became like a daily affair in Fall every friday. These guys have been good friends as they used to let me invade their fridge when we were out of stuff. It was thanks to these guys that i got hooked onto sitcoms like 2 and half men etc etc :P. Plus they were nice company to be around especially when i used to be locked out of my place.

Similarly day by day interaction with bombay guys increased ie with Nisarg, Sagar and Souranshu especially the daily Counter Strike sessions at night during spring semester. Thanks to them I was able to experience food like Toastada, Sheer and other mumbai food which i had never tasted before. They are nice company to have especially for going out for walks or for discussing things about philosophy and life.

Then comes Vairavan and i must say i am lucky to meet a guy like him. He is a gem of a guy. He has been a friend and more of a guide. Thanks to him my journey here at USC has been easier and more enjoyable. He is a guy who enjoys a good meal and a good laugh. He is 1 guy whom you can rely on. I am also lucky to have met his ex roomate Arjun who too is a nice guy. Arjun is a good friend and a guide who keeps on advising on what to do and what not to. He is an awesome cook and i love eating the various dishes he cooks though i am yet to eat anything he cooked since spring semester ended. Both of them have been very nice to me. And thanks to them i have learnt a lot about life and more.

At USC i have met 2 more people who have had made a positive impact on me they are Venkat Raman and Venkat Balaji(VB). I met VB in the latter half of spring semester and i must say i havent interacted with him too much but whatever i did it made me realize we had a lot of things in common. He was very helpful to me and i would like to wish him best of luck for the future. Venkat Raman is also an interesting chap a nice guy who is nice company to have especially if you wanna go and have a meal together or if you wanna talk about girls in general. I would like to to mention about Anushree as she has also been helpful to me not only for helping me out with the content for interviews but also for providing me with food when i was hungry. I would also like to thank her for giving my roomates and me home cooked food which was delicious. But i guess i need to remind her that she has 1 of our containers and we would really appreciate it if she returns it containing some awesome dish :D

Last but not the least my roomates Anu, Sumit and Devesh. They too have been nice and helpful to me. Sumit is a nice chap who was willing to give me a helping hand right at the start when i wanted to collect my phone from Fedex. He was the one who went with me to pick it up but unfortunately i wasnt able to get it but that wasnt the point. He cooks well but doesnt do it very often. Anu is not only the guy who is tall, dark and handsome but also a guy with a big heart. He was the guy who literally took care of me when i was unwell. Just to add he makes awesome sweets. Devesh aka Vito Corleone is a good guy who not only cooks good food but also is awesome at playing Counter Strike. He is good guy if you wanna discuss history, politics, religion etc. Also we have 1 more roomate this fall his name is Abhinav up till now my interaction has been limited but whatever it is he seems to be a nice chap. Lets see how things go with him.

Anyways enough talk time to hit the bed..

Blunt Honesty

Hi there blog how have you been doing? As for me i am doing good met new people this semester they have been nice to me. I have a learnt a lot from them plus i am enjoying this semester 3 new courses learning a lot all in all its nice feeling. Are you kidding me is that the truth who will say that you are still without a proper campus job you kind of screwed 1 midterm. Plus you have been struggling to keep up this semester and last but not the least you are still technically unemployed.

Hmm which would be a nice introduction the first one where i am talking generally about my life this semester or the second one where i am explicitly telling the truth. I guess most of you would say the first one and to be honest i too would agree. I mean who the hell likes to meet a guy who is cribbing about his problems in general. Even if he or she is not the cribbing types but on a general basis if that person is cribbing you wouldnt like it if he or she is a close friend else you will be like why the hell is he or she cribbing in front of me.

I will tell you about my experiments blunt honesty and to be honest results were not surprising. And as usual i will try to add a funny tinge to the whole thing so as not to make it a serious debate so please bear with me(This line was just written to please myself as you see i too cant be blunt honest with myself and say who cares about your blog its not as if many people are going to read it.)

I was talking to my friend who is in india and i asked him so was he still single or did he found someone special he said he did and i congratulated him on this. He posed me with the same question and i replied with a very logical answer. I said i am a grad student and i am technically unemployed plus it is not that i have too much money to spend and on top of it i dont even have a campus job and i dont have a car so why would any girl go out with me. He replied by saying dude you are being too pessimistic blah blah. Rest of the conversation is not important. I thought i was being realistic and i was very honest with the reason which i think i was the problem.

For all the people who watch how i met your mother and have seen the episode return of the shirt can relate to this. In this episode when Ted wanted to break up with Natalie he thought that he should tell her the truth by saying she was not the one ie he wanted to too honest and do you remember what happened Ted was beaten up Natalie using Krav Maga. Plus i was just talking to another friend of mine and asked him about his experience about being too honest. I will not go into too much detail as it might be mundane for many of you i will keep it short. He told me while he was working in 1 of the IT companies and was attending a meeting when his boss asked him a question and he replied from his heart ie he spoke too honestly result his boss said to him he was too young , immature, he was hallucinating that is why he was talking rubbish. In short an epic failure.

I think the problem with being blunt honest is that it threatens the very existence of other peoples dream that is why they hate blunt honesty. The thing is you are trying to shatter the dreams which they might have clung on for so long and by being too honest you are demotivating them. Also i feel that we humans have now become accustomed to lies where we truth is slightly modified so that it does not hurt us too much or it makes sure that we are not taken out from our comfort zone. And to be honest its okay i mean come on who likes it when you have cooked for the first time and the person who tastes it says what the hell salt is too much, it is not cooked properly, it is too hard blah blah you will like it if the other person is like ya it is nice try for someone who is new to cooking etc etc. I mean a little bit of flattery doesnt hurt right that way the concerned party is left happy and they also have an idea where they lack but in more subtle way so in a way it makes them feel good about them. In short blunt honesty hmm is not a good option and generally it doesnt work if it has worked for you do tell me about it.

PS: First of all the talk with my friend about gf should not be taken personally by girls i am not accusing them of anything. Its just that this happened with me recently so i used this as an example nothing more nothing less. Plus this whole blunt thing goes with my theory about me being a cold hearted person and all but anyways no big thing. Plus for those who like this post or dont like this post but take it in light hearted manner good for them but for those who took it too personally i will say what naga baba says "**** *** ****** ****" \m/.

Random Ramblings

Hi there a happy and a prosperous new year to you and too your family. Okay thats about it now that we have the salutations out we can get to the business(i dont know why i am saying this it just felt kind of cool at the time of writing this post).

Well one semester down at USC and i can say it was nice and interesting in its own way. I mean whats better than slogging you ass of for 1 semester i mean doing 6 assignments per week and coming back home around 3am to find that you have to do laundary else you wont be able to go college tomorrow ohh man that feeling is awesome.

Just kidding but grad school is different kind of exeperience altogether i mean it is more about time management and it is extended COLLEGE LIFE. It was nice that for the winter break i went to the east coast and visited my mama in Virginia. From there on i went to New Jersey and New York. I had the opportunity to get to know my mama's family so it was fun.

Well New York was my dream city i mean i had always dreamt of visiting New York i dont know maybe it was due to the hype created by the hollywood but after being there i can say it doesnt live up to the hype created. Lets not go into the detail as to why it didnt live up to my expectations all i will say is my next dream place to go is Paris lets see if i will go there or not.

I had an interesting event which happened with me right before the semester ended. It was match between USC v/s UCLA lets just say its A guy walks up and asks the price of a jersey and i say it is 60$ and he says "thats too expensive what if i pay you 50$ and my wife shows you her boobies" His wife who is listening to our conversaton adds that i might have seen a lot of fake boobies but i havent seen real ones like hers i say that doesnt work out. He then offers me another scheme he says "i pay you 45$ for that and my wife gives you a bj" i say that also doesnt work out. Well then she asks me to show her a jersey for her size and i ask what size she says the one that doesnt make her look fat i give her an extra small she says that it so sweet of me but it wouldnt fit her boobies. Well after they left i had an hearty laugh.

And this year i also realized that whenever i go out and meet a girl alone(some people might wanna call that a date but i wouldnt) and if she ends up paying for the meal then we never end up meeting again. Well this happened again this time too dont want to go in details about i will just say this time i will be happy if we dont end up bumping into each other again. And the reason i believe is that we never end up meeting again is that i let them pay or maybe because i have the knack so i have utter social inaptitude. Anyways it really doesnt matter once i find a wingman like Barney Stintson.

PS: I will end up saying girls on the west coast are much hotter than girls on the east coast.

Life after NSIT

Hi there its been a long i mean really long since i last updated my blog. It is thanks to my friend Vairavan that i am updating my blog. He coaxed me into finding time and updating my blog so here i am doing the same.

For the uninitiated i finished my B.E. in may 2009 and on 5august 2009 i left for Amreeka to pursue my masters from University of Southern California. To mention the very least the months of June and July were pretty taxing not only physically and emotionally as my maternal grandfather passed away. I wouldnt like to elaborate on his passing away as if i do so i would be unable to continue any further secondly i wouldnt want the occassional reader who visits my blog leave with a sad memory after reading my blog as it would defeat the very purpose of my blog. In 1 line i would like to say i will miss my maternal grandfather.

Its been more than 2 months since i have been here and i think i am still becoming accustomed to life here. The ride here has been filled with fun and pain. Fun yes because i get to meet new people from different nationalities on a daily basis and the pain is because i am away from my parents and friends. Yes i know what will be the next few questions in your mind so i will try my best to answer them. Yes i have visited a few places i have been to santa monica beach and to san deigo. In san deigo i even watched a baseball game it was fun as people here support the teams very passionately in other words the experience of watching a game in the stadium is pretty different you will get what i mean only if you come here and watch any sport in the stadium.

Los Angeles in general is a good place to be i mean nice weather and with all the entertainment industry here loads of places to visit for eg Las Vegas, Beverly Hills, Universal Studios etc etc. People here are friendly or it could be that people in US are generally friendly. But the area around USC is shitty i mean pretty boring i mean you have to go some distance to enjoy so you either need a car or you should use the public transport which is not that good either plus the neighbourhood is not that safe at night so all in all it does give you a bad feeling once in a while but nothing that cant be handled.

Now for the food hmm i must say i have been blessed with good roomates as 2 of them cook pretty well. Since the time we have been here we have cooked aloo paranthas, chhole, rajma, mix veg, shahi tofu(american version of paneer), dals, butter chicken, mutton, poori, rice and its variants. So all in all we do get to eat nice food. Plus there are lot of indians living in my building so we tend to cook together sometimes.

Almost every friday is a frat party in our building as 10 of us have dinner together and we generally cook butter chicken or some variant of chicken. Then we have it together sometimes we do invite some of our friends over for dinner so i hope you get the drift. In 1 go we end up finishing 40 chapatis or paranthas.

Well there have been some funny moments since i have been here in the US though i dont have the energy to write a post on them individually but will describe them briefly here. One of the fridays when i had cooked butter chicken and i was about to leave the room 3 (2 of them are guys and 1 is gal and they are durnk)people who come over and ask if we have food. We say yes and we let them in. I think one guy was pretty much in his sense and his girl friend was pretty drunk as she was dancing on songs of pink floyd which were running on my friends laptop and the other guy after entering left. I was heating up the chicken as it was in the fridge and she comes over and says she will have little and i am like sure but let me heat it up for you and she was ok with that. She went back in and was kissing her boyfriend on my friends bed and the thing was there were atleast 7 people on the room that time. Once chicken was heated up i gave her a chappati and chicken and she rolled it in the form of a roll or burrito and was trying to have it. She spilled some on the floor and i gave her the plate so that she doesnt spill properly i was wiping the floor and she asked my friends who cooked the butter chicken and they pointed towards me and she comes over and to my suprise she gives me a hug and thanks me for the meal. I didnt know what to say as i was in a state of shock but as they say alls well that ends well.

In all i have got hugged, frustrated on not getting my phone on time, submitted 6 assignements in a week, felt weird that people here cant understand my english at the pizza hut, seen some hot chicks dressed, been given a high fi by random drunk people walking on the street at night, i have been thanked almost 10 times a day for doing nothing even been thanked for paying my grocery bill as if they would let me take the groceries without paying all in all i get to see different things everyday would be almost impossible to document everything though here i am still trying.

PS: Sorry for the long post but i guess such a long break deserved a long post i am hoping i can update it on a more regular basis..

Scribbling Day

Today was our last working day and it was today that Scribbling Day was held. Though i still cant believe it that from tomorrow i wont be able to sit in class and laugh during the lectures or get irritated by the missed calls and smsses by my friends or i wont be pushed out of my seat anymore during STC sir's class or i wont be able to discuss everything under the sun except studies right from movies(that include porno to movies like departed) to "Enlightenment" to Religion to Politics to Music etc etc in the lecture. Right now faced with too much emotions and it would require another post so i will skip how i feel about last day of college.

I reached college very late around 1:30pm as according to plan Scribbling Day for class would have begun around 11:30am but i was late due to some commitment made earlier on shukla and my part which had to be fulfilled. I almost came to college at dwarka mor metro station to give Software Engg's file to ap's friend around 12:20. After that i went to Shaidpur Metro Station to collect kunal's notes of financial management from shukla. After collecting that i reached back college a little tired due to the journey without expecting much as i hoped that most of the people would have gone home back by then.

I called up kunal and asked him where he was and he said he was at the admin. I reached there and i saw a huge crowd shouting at the top of their voices. Till then i had no idea what was happening. I saw my class and felt a little relieved. After seeing me everyone just started scribbling on my t-shirt and i was not able to move for like 5 mins as everyone pounced on me. One by one they just kept on coming. It was the warmest reception i had ever received in my life. Everyone in the class was so warm me due to that all my exhaustion of the journey and heat just went away.

The comments written on the t shirt were really nice especially by isha and swati raghunandan. Thanks for writing such nice words about me i dont know if i deserve them or not but if i do i would like to give credit to my parents and to my school Mount St Mary's...Thank you guys for making this day one of the most memorable moments of my life..

PS: Must say couples like isha and anita share a very strong relationship i mean both of them wrote on opposite side of my sleeves was that coincidence or they have ruhani powers due to which they tend to know each other thoughts before hand..

Also mohit yar your comment about making millions and millions of babies is not right yar as it is india is already suffering from over-population and with me making millions and millions of babies would aggravate india's problem.

@Saurabh i do love Virtex. To put it another words you can say it is my love interest these days. Have you seen the legs of Virtex they are the most beautiful legs and it gives you electric shock when you touch it. You can check the pic of Virtex here
http://picasaweb.google.com/ankitanand1986/4YearsOfCollege#5327956347360114946

@Anshu nice to see the Worst Gaali of GH..Though kuch farak nahi pada mere ko..

@Kunal please dont do this to me let only Shekhar be your love interest. I am straight. You are already giving me second thoughts of joining CSC... :P

@Soul Gang i hope today by sitting at home some of you must have achieved Enlightenment or must have got more closer to the same by walking on the path toward Enlightenment and i hope all of you must have completed your sleep also..Enjoy..

You can check out picture of scribbling day here
http://picasaweb.google.co.in/ankitanand1986/ScribblingDay#

Trip to Rajasthan

I had recently gone to Rajasthan as a part of College Trip organized by IEEE NSIT Student Branch. All of the Soul Gang went there except Harsh. Ayush was incharge of the trip. We left for Rajasthan on 3april and reached delhi on 8 april. As per itineary of the trip we were to visit Jaipur, Udaipur, Mount Abu and Ajmer.

Day 1:
On 3 april we were to leave by 6 am but we left by 7:30am(if i remember correctly). 81 people were there on the trip and our mode of transport was bus. There were 2 buses and all the 4yrs were sitting in bus no 1. As there was nothing much to do early in the morning Soul gang decided to play Poker and as i didnt know how to play poker they taught me how to play. Must say it is an interesting game. Soon Hemant and Ayush joined the game. Hemant did what he is best at machaopanti, the guy was not very clear with the rules and started to place very high bets or to put it simply he was in the mood of "All In" this affected the game plan for rest of us.

We had breakfast at some lousy place run by Rajasthan Govt where 2 samosas cost 30rupees (i mean like WTF loot macha rakhi hai). Being a miser i did not eat much as there was no point spending too much money there. While traveling we did discuss some interesting topics from demolition of Babri Masjid, to Fanaticism in Islam to the concept of religion etc etc. Some of the topics were discussed to make sure that sutt does not sleep as he did only 2 things on the trip sleeping and toilet. Sitting in the backseat of the bus we six made a heck of racket as arushi later told us that even she could hear our conversations she was 2 rows ahead of us.

We visited amer fort, kanak garden and saw jal mahal. For dinner we stopped at Chaukidhani. I had heard a lot about it and must say it exceeded all my expectations as the place had perfect unison between traditionality and modernity. The dinner was delicious and very heavy they just keep on serving you. The only fault which i feel is that they waste a lot of food as one cant eat that much plus not all people like all the subzis they serve so if someone says no to a particular dish they should not serve him. The highlight of the day were:
1) Usage of a new dialogues like "Sabka apna perspective hai", "Taash ke liye light jaalein", "Maa hi **** di"
2) Adi sleeping on the floor so that 5 of us can sleep comfortably
3) Playing poker inside Kanak Garden
4) In 1 of the forts the Ticket guy said that Boris is a foreigner so we pay 150rs for his ticket

Day 2
We finally reached our hotel Florence Continental in Udaipur around 9 i guess. A room was being shared by 4 people. My roomies were Sid, Varun and Shrey. Hammy was with COE guys and ashwin, adi, shankar and sutt were in the same room. The rooms were well lit and with AC working everything was nice. After attending's nature's call in our room there was a knock in our room and we see hemant standing outside. He said that he wanted to use the toilet in our room. He even charged his digi cam in our room. I guess usse apne room mein "feel" nahi aa rahi thi.

We visited Saheliyon ki Bari, Fateh Sagar lake and also saw the Solar Observatory. We also saw Haldighat and saw the statue of Maharaja Rana Pratap Singh. After a motor boat ride on Fateh Sagar lake we reached to the other end, we had 2 options either we could stay here or go for paddling. Initially we all had decided we will paddle but after reaching there the scenic beauty and table at the canteen caught our attention so we decided to stay here and play Poker. Must say it was a perfect place to play poker with a perfect view of the lake and wind blowing and with chairs and table outside it was just amazing. After playing for sometime the canteen owner came outside and asked us not to play as his customers were getting scared. In words of the canteen owner "mere cusotmer ko darr lag raha hai aap logoin ko dekh kar ki yeh kaun se gaanjedi aur jaauri aa gaye hai".

Highlights of the day:
1) It was poker night in our room with poker chips(thanks to nanhe)
2) Varun and Shrey too learnt how to play Poker
3) 11 people were playing poker that night
4) Around 12:30 there is a knock on the door and i open to see who it is and we see some 10 to 12 fucches asking can we also join we said it is almost time to pack up.

Day 3:
We had to leave for Mt Abu. We left by 6am. Well the mood in our bus was completely different as everyone wanted to play poker. Almost all the 1 years were playing poker with ayush's poker chips. Must say some of them displayed the knack of being pro gamblers.

We visited Dilwara Temples. It was an awesome place. The architecture work of that was mind blowing. There we discovered an NP Hard problem of Devrani & Jethani as they never get along so there is a conflict between them always. We then reached Nakki Lake and all of us in the mood were trekking. We climbed the Toad mountain it was a great place for trekking feel aa gayi thi and for others unki feel nikal gayi thi(like sutt). Ashwin and Shrey were the most adventurous amongst us they did climb some very steep cliffs. Ashwin, shankar and me came down from a very unconventional path and once we reached down it felt amazing.

After trekking with our knees paining we decided to paddling at nakki lake. We roped in Sid and went for paddling it was an enthralling experience.

Highlights of the Day:
1) Playing Poker at night sutt called ashwin naga baba and since then it is his new nickname.
2) I wrote my first prose and i made sure that all the soul gang read it. Most of them didnt like it except ashwin who kept encouraging me(@ashwin thanks for the kind gesture).
3) Our driver took a wrong turn and climbed a bridge and the he had to reverse a bus for a km or so....

Day 4
We went to see City Palace, Vintage Car collection, to a Rajasthan emporium store.

Highlights of the Day:
1) Adi got his first alms by singing the song Feel waale baba at Vintage Car collection giving him company while singing were Sid and me.
2) We ordered 4 plates of Tandoori Chicken 1 for shrey, 1 for Sid, 1 was shared by adi and shankar and 1 for me. It was delicious. All of us savored it. For sid it was a spicy treat it was funny seeing him eat the 3 piece as it was too spicy for him he ran wearing his socks on the roof of the hotel where DJ was going on to drink water.

Day 5
We went to see Pushkar temple, Nathdwara and Moinuddin Chishti Ki Dargah. All the places were nice but one could clearly see that dishonesty and greed for money by the brahmins and mullahs. This is why i hate going to temples as one cant find peace there anymore. All they wanted was to get your money "ALL IN".

Highlights of the Day:
1) The song Naga Baba was developed
2) Yeh Shukla Shukla M*******d hai... was made

Overall it was a nice trip and it was worth going there and what to say about the food it was awesome. At the end i would like to thank all my friends for making it such an enjoyable moment. This trip will truly serve as a great memory once we pass out of college.

PS: Maine trip ke baare mein "ALL IN" kar diya hai i hope soul gang likes it. Also i would like to thank nanhe for organizing such a memorable trip. Below is the comment which i wrote on the blog keep in mind that the word limit there was 1000 words.

Respected Sir,

I am 22 years old and for quite sometime i have been listening to the talks about active role the youth is going to play in the future and how youth should actively participate actively in politics etc etc but seeing you as the prime ministerial candidate for the NDA doesnt go with the above theory. I mean with no disrespect you sir i feel you are too old to be a prime minister, i mean how can you have the same enthusiasm and energy of a person less than 60 years old. Sir i respect you not only because you are an elder to me a principle which our parents try to imbibe in us as children but also because of the great role you played in fighting for india’s independence and also for the role you have played in its development. I respect you for that but dont you think it is time you start mentoring the next generation rather than run for the prime minister and let some other young person run for the prestigious post of prime minister.
Waiting for your reply.

Ankit Anand

Well now the funny thing is that the moderators did not publish my comment and 1 more amazing thing is that Mr.Advani employs a bunch of IT engineers to maintain his blog and his website so i guess he never really reads the comment written by the public I guess this makes sense as the politicians never really do what you expect them to do even if you tell them on their faces so you cant expect much by writing on their blogs but i just wanted to try my luck. But still it would have been nice if my comment would have got published.

I guess this is democracy i am free to leave a comment on his blog and he is free not to publish it as he might end up losing a few votes.

New Year Resolutions

First of all i would like to wish all the readers a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. As we all know New Year is near by so many of us tend to make New Year resolutions in the month of december. Some people try their best to keep them but some just write them for the sake of it.

Before any of you start reading ahead hold your horses i am warning you this post is not meant for the light hearted. The author takes no responsibility for the extreme emotions you might undergo after reading this, so think before you read it. As this post is a an attempt from the author and author's friends namely Siddharth Goyal and Deepank Gupta to describe what should be the New Year Resolutions for some of our batchmates, so if you feel offended there is a possibility that it was not the author's idea to pull your leg but their's..

Lets start Roll Number wise, here goes:

1) Abhishek Kumar Sharma (aka Mukki) - He will try to get a gold medal in the next Olympics in the Featherweight mukkebaazi.

2) Aditya Singh (aka Ramu) - Dude should try to bath regularly sometimes it becomes a real pain standing next to him. Plus getting a new hair style wont harm him either.

3) Anant Shankar (aka Chinti) - He should try to stop watching Reshma ki jawani.

4) Anita Kumari - She will try to stop putting up so many lovey dovey quotes as her gmail status.

5) AP - She should try to stop two timing this year i mean she already goes out with a guy but she also goes out with a gal from our class. What should i say times are changing in India people dont mind being in multiple relationships.

6) Archit Shukla (aka sutt) - He should start watching the movies first before seeing the the name of the movie also should try to quit *******

7) Ashwin Mukhija (aka Feel Waale Baba) - When he is travelling by plane and air hostess comes over and asks him to buckle his seat belt he should not say challe chal

8) Boris Kundu (aka bangali) - He should try not to be P**N king of the class..So till the time he is the king we all know whom to contact to take stuff or as deepank states Point of Contact..

9) Ayush Jain ( aka nanhe) - First of all i congratulate him on performing his tasks well as Laxman and i hope he continues to do his best. Secondly he should try to talk his girl friend with a little more respect and should stop watching movies like euro trip and pirates, american pie series etc etc..

10) Assim Deodia (aka rabbit) - He will try to break free from his first GF(his laptop) else his second GF might leave him.

11) Deepank Gupta - What to say about him all we can say is he should stop bunking college.

12) Nidhi Gupta - She should start bunking college.

13) Harsh Kathpalia - He should pray that BH1 gets a Lift very soon.

14) Hemant Goyal (aka suur) - Should try his best to keep his nalla clean.

15) Kunal Rustagi (aka gaanjawala) - Should try to forget about Shekhar

16) Siddharth Goyal (aka robot) - Should try to forget about Kunal. Also he should try to go to movies alone because if he ends up going with a girl he generally doesnt understands the movie(ask him why that happens).

17) Sandeep Rastogi (aka sandy) - Shaadi kar lega.

18) Shekhar Gupta - He should start cracking laughable jokes.

19) Tarun Arora - He will try to stop putting his hand on his face while talking with others.

20) Rajat Talwar (aka ghoda) - Ghaas se dosti kar lega.

21) Pushkar Gupta - Will try to stop reducing his weight.

22) Swati Agarwal - Chillana band kar degi.

Well there is 1 more..I would like that the person who baked a cake last year, to please bake a cake once again this year(You see you cant make this her new year's resolution because that way i will end up losing the opportunity of having even that 1 cake if i had any).It is pretty obvious that the cake was good.

I would like to thank Deepank and Siddharth for their invaluable help ( i am mentioning this again so you know whom to catch). Also if i left out a lot of people i am sorry it is just that either we couldnt conjure up something interesting or being late at night we didnt wanted to think too deep.

I hope i stay alive to see the new year after publishing this post.

Happy New Year to all!!

Archit is Straight

On friday after the practicals were over everyone was breathing a sigh of relief so many of us had brought external hard disks to exchange movies. I sat at the admin around 1 and i met aditya vishwakarma he too had his external hard disk so we sat down and started exchanging movies. He suggested me to take Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2008 high definition video but i said NO. Seeing us there Rohil came along a lot of movies were exchanged. Rohil went away but there were more and more people coming we were like a bee hive as all the near by bees were being attracted there. In between all this archit had given me his 4gb pen drive to me and asked me to put in a few movies and he had left to play pool.

Ultimately hemant had come and gone now only siddharth, aditya vishwakarma and me were left with 2 hard disks connected to 1 laptop things were getting messy as it was getting tiresome as it was already 3:15 and we were still sitting at the admin freezing our asses without food. Then finaly aditya left (sid and i breathed a sigh of relief as we could see an end to our misery) but alas anant came by and asked "which movie do you have?"

Sid could not contain his laughter as my hard disk of 80gb has nearly 60 movies and to tell him which movies i had would have been a pain in the ass. So we gave him fight club and quantum of solace and pirates 2. Finally when we are about to pack up i remembered about archit's request and i asked sid to put in 4 to 5 movies in archit's pen drive but we were damn tired so sid said no and then i asked anant to put in the movies which we had given him.

He agreed but added that why dont we change the names of the movies which we transfer to his pen drive to which all of us agreed. The name of Quantum of Solace had been changed to "Gay scenes from Brokeback Mountain" and an episode of duck tales was renamed as "Quantum of Solace" and another movie Young Frankestein was added. This according to us was a test to find out whether archit was straight or not.

And we can safely say he passed the test with flying colors he straight away deleted the movie with title "Gay scenes from Brokeback Mountain". I am sure all those who know archit can breathe a sigh of relief(all those who know archit well can understand).

Anil Kapoor & Yuvvraaj

Before you read this i want to tell you that this is not the review of the movie as havent seen as of yet.

I was recently having a chat with one of the girls in my neighborhood and topic diverted to yuvvraaj and its chances at the box office(this was way back when yuvvraaj was released, even while i am writing this i am not sure whether yuvvraaj is hit or flop). I said the movie has a good chance as the music seems to be good plus being a multi starrer it fares a good chance. She said i want to watch the movie as "Anil Kapoor" is in this movie. And i was like WTF Anil Kapoor, i mean who likes Anil Kapoor. After realizing i was quiet for a minute she added that Anil Kapoor was 1 of her favourite actors. After being dumstruck once again and i tried controlling my urge to laugh out loud i respected her opinion and said it is ok.

I narrated this incident to Nidhi and Deepank and they could not stop laughing(i can already hear critics like sid saying why cant she like Anil Kapoor. My answer to them m2l2 he is definitely not my favourite..). But wih all due respects to him one has to admit he has been in the industry for quite some time and has produced a few hits occassionally like "Ram Lakhan" , "Mr. India" , "No Entry" etc but then again he is NOT my favourite.

PS: I have been reading Abhinav Bindra's blog and few other blogs and i kind of feel disappointed with my lame effort of writing on my blog i mean whatever topic they write on they end up getting more than 170 comments. Lets hope things change on my blog too.(I can already see people like Ashwin saying who writes for other people, I used think like this too but after talking to sid things have changed it feels good to get appreciated for writing on the blog so i guess i want that appreciation).

A Poem

I’m sure that I will always be
A lonely number like root three
The three is all that’s good and right,
Why must my three keep out of sight
Beneath the vicious square root sign,
I wish instead I were a nine
For nine could thwart this evil trick,
with just some quick arithmetic
I know I’ll never see the sun,
as 1.7321
Such is my reality,
a sad irrationality
When hark! He was saying that having this kind of relationship in college becomes a burden in various ways, while i thought differently. So through this post i will try to bring out the positive as well as the negative side and will leave you to decide whats best for you.

My friend says that once in this kind of relationship you dont give time to your old friends. You end up spending more time with her. This i feel is true as it as your girlfriend being near you gives you the opportunity to spend a lot of time with her but at the same time gives you less time to spend with you old friends. I have seen nobody till date who has been able to maintain the balance between his friends and girl friend or maybe like they say grass is always greener on the side. I mean what if his friends feel he does not spend the same amount of time with him while what if he feels that the time he is giving his friends now should be sufficent. While the usual pros and cons of having a gf are always there so i dont think there is any point of elaborating them.

I guess the thing is that both sides miss some essential facts like the Guy forgets that maybe down the line his friends might feel hurt because the place which they occupied in his life is now taken by someone else while his friends become a little self centered as they feel that their place is being threatened but they miss the point that as the guy is happy maybe this is what he always wanted. They forget to him to his personal space.

In short all this is crap with each side being adamnant that they are correct as his friends feel he has changed while he feels that his friends have changed or become more hostile towards thus both sides lose out good frienship in the long run. Sometimes i wish things like these should not come with a price attached.

PS:With this post i would like all those people who ever had a gf within the same college please share their experince so that others can learn

The Daring Couples

It seems an eternity since i wrote something on the blog and I am sorry about that(i guess that sorry is directed only to the blog).I somehow felt a sudden surge to write today so i said to myself it is now or never, now here i am writing lets hope it turns out to be a good one.

A week ago i had gone to watch the movie Rock on and i was walking towards Wave cinema through the lanes behind Westgate mall and i saw a couple(by a couple i mean a boy and a girl these days couples can be of same sex too) smooching each other in broad daylight. I said to myself wtf i mean it is just 6'o clock in the evening. Though seeing me they got a little embarrassed and stopped but i didnt bother and i just walked ahead. I was amazed at their guts as those lanes arent deserted, people do walk by so a lot of risk is involved.

Then this couple which i saw in Rajouri Market went a few steps ahead. It was some months ago and time was around 9pm and this sardar was driving his car and side by side his hands were at certain places in and around the woman's body(i hope you get the drift). They were enjoying the moment rather than being worried about the fact that whether or not anyone was watching them. Though my friend and I walked back home laughing.

Now what i am gonna tell you about is just amazing. I mean how many girls would have the balls to be smooching their boyfriends in a mall that is just a 15 minutes walk from their home. And as her luck turned out one of the aunties living in their neighbhourhood saw her doing that atleast that is what the girl thought initially. So she took a bold step and dictated this incident to the ladies son but it turned out to her chagrin that the aunty had not seen them. And that guy being a friend told me this and the funny point is that girl lives near my house and all the nearby auntied keep praising her "kitni sharif laadki hai".LOL

So next time be a little carfeul when coochioing with your boyfriend and girlfriend as you never know who might see you or who might write about you on his or her blog. And if possible if someone out there have done these kind of things in public please do tell me why do you do it?
Engineering in India

Well its been a long time since i wrote anything on the blog by long time i mean very long so i am back here trying to update it and i specifically choose this topic as somehow it is related to my heart. So here is my 10 cents on this issue..

Hi i am Ankit Anand an engineering student currently in my 4 year.I am a student at Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology and i am pursuing Information & Technology. This is was just that you know my credentials before you say who is this guy.Now back to the point when i entered college i was pretty excited and hoping that i would be able to build some cool stuff learn a lot of practical things and would end up making life easier for common people by building something, but all my dreams were shattered just for the simple fact that engineering in India is a joke..

There are many reasons for this but i will state a few which i think are relevant in my case first would be lack of good teachers by good i mean many of them still believe in rote method that existed in school. For proof all i can say is there no marks for practical knowledge all they want you to do is mug up a book and vomit it out in the paper rather then evaluating us on projects where we get to apply concepts, during one of the vivas a teacher asked me why do you come to college i wanted to say to learn but i kept quiet he said it is obvious you all come here to get "MARKS",i was like wtf i mean just because you have that thinking does not mean everybody else does..But believe me in my class you will hardly find people running after knowledge it is marks all the way and i can say this safely after my 3 year stint and NSIT.

At this point some of the readers who know me would say how can i challenge their integrity because i am not among the marks i mean i can assure you i am in the bottom 30 and i am proud of it just for the simple fact that during my 3 year tenure here i have still stood by my principles nothing has deterred me not even marks not even teachers i am here to learn and that is what i will do and for those who think they are better then anyone who are not among the marks well if you are really that good then why not make some technology that would be able to change the world(just before you say fuck you at this point what about the other challenge why not do a project in a field against some other guy who you think is not better then you being avg scorer lets see then who produces better results because there can be possibility that he or she can have better knowledge in that subject).

I remember this incident that happened in 3 semester our electronics teacher asked can we measure potential just with this question he was able to bamboozle all the girls in the class as most of them said yes the answer is no we always measure potential difference. And the irony is most of the gals who were able to answer this question were toppers in my class i am sure many guys in my class didnot knew the answer but were saved as somebody did.The reason is that many people were not able to answer beacuse you generally do not find these kind of things in the books this kind of stuff it is basically application of stuff you have learnt this is what people in India lack and they will continue lacking thanks to the education system of india.

Lastly this post was meant to encourage people to go for knowledge rather than marks as it will definitely pay you in the long run though you might suffer in the short run but then be prepared dont let the lesser mortals(ie people who have short term aims) deter you from you path,if you keep on fighting you will definitely achieve it and to find out more about not quitting and believing in yourself contact Ashwin Mukhija(aka Banku) and Siddharth Goyal(aka Robot) i am sure you can definitely take a leaf from there book and as for engineering in india it is a pain in the ass but hope and pray that your passion for engineering is not sucked by passion suckers namely toppers and teachers. There is lot more i want to write but i shall stop here dont want to make it boring.Bye and Take Care!!

What is M2L2??I guess most of you must have been hearing this word on daily basis being used by many people but some of you do not know what it really means so here i am trying to explain what really is M2L2 and my tryst with M2L2..

In short M2L2 is a revolution made by the people for the people..As someone rightly said "Its the very principle on which this world is running"...Reader might be thinking how this is so? but it is true because people use it intentionally or unintentionally whether be it a fight or just for fun..People live on M2l2 knowingly or unknowingly as a diplomat who used people for getting his work done uses it after work is done verbally or just in his mind..or a hot headed might use it straight away..

The origin of M2l2 dates back in 2005 cant be sure of the month though..It was the strong will and grit of few great men who stumbled upon M2l2 it was initially used for fun sometimes during fight or even while jokes..Sometimes used to vent out frustration sometimes use to cool the surroundings especially before a fight..Basically the statement which the SOUL gang associates with M2L2 is "Spread the joy spread the M2L2 movement"..Now it has become so popular that people use it without even knowing its mean..Some also tell me it is openly used by gals..The movement associated with M2L2 is of freedom for the youth to voice their opinion but in responsible way..Well all those associated with M2L2 are reaping its benefits why not you??What is stopping you??

There will be a time when you can proudly say to your grandchildren and children that i was associated with movement like this which changed the face of earth..Those great men will be remembered and cherished for starting a movement like M2L2 and all others would proudly admit that we have walked with the giants who had the courage to make M2L2 a success..Long Live M2L2..M2L2 to all the readers..
<img width='1' height='1' me "how does it feel to be growing up in India in current times because your country is making a progress at such a fast pace in all the fields be it technical, managerial or business??"...I said definitely yes i feel very excited to be growing up in a time like this because the way we are developing it seems becoming a developing country does not look like a distant dream..Than he asked me "what do you think is the difference between a developed country and a developing country??"...this question was a little surprising for me i pondered over it a little and than i realized that answer was pretty obvious i said the difference is what is the worth of 1 citizen's live to the country..to what extent are they willing to go to save him either medically(ie if he has some rare disease or his life is in danger) or monetarily or for that in any matter he can be helped..before i could say anything more he said it was time for him to get off as this station..in the end he just said goodbye...

Later that night i pondered over this a little more and finally i formed an opinion over this to some readers it might sound a bit dictatorial but than that is what my opinion is..I think in a developing country an individual's life is not given any importance and even if the government whats to they cant due to the lack of resources at hand..Almost daily you might get to read in the newspaper that a 5 persons died due to the excessive heat and 10 died due to the riots and few more due to various other causes but inspite of all this we say that government doesnt take any action but i ask what due to expect them to do generate resources for a such a large population??You ask there is no water i say the amount of water we have cannot fulfill our needs even if try utilizing it in the best possible manner ya i agree over this in a developing country like ours there is definitely mismanagement of resources but even if they did still people would die of thirst still we crib so i say government is right to a certain extent in if it thinks for the future generation and saves resources for them which definitely would mean that present generation suffer to a certain extent..You might why should the present generation why not the next but i say to become a developed country 1 of the generation had to suffer so why not our generation..i say is each individual in a developing country like ours should consider himself a hero though at the end a few of us will be remembered and few of us will be will be the forgotten heroes but the day we become a developed country each hero will get his share of fame thats the day when i think we would truly be a developed country..so sacrifices made by the present generation would go a long way in making our nation a developed nation..I wish i could see a fully developed India in my lifetime and i also pray to god that i too would have played my role in making my nation a developed nation..

Sorry for writing on a topic like this as many of you wont be able to relate to it..
<img width='1' height='1' i wil put it up later..)

The soul gang started in 3 sem though it foundations were laid in the 2 sem...My association with soul gang till now has been really amazing..inspite of my socially fucked up attitude these guys have been there whenever i needed them..they have been there to share my happiness & sorrows..i guess after a long time in my life i can say i have found "real" friends..After a long time i have met ppl with whom i can relate to & they can relate to me..there was dis big void in my life dat all the ppl i know till now there is no one with whom i can share my inner thoughts with..And i always had these phases where i feel lonely & all but with the sou gang those phases have definitely been reduced...Thanx guys for being there i hop & pray that our friendship lasts for a lifetime...

Now i will tell you how did we come together..well dats simple really u see i think it is food, music, gaming, thass type='text'>Surprising

There are certain incidents in life which are unexpected sometimes they are gud sometimes theri bad i am telling u abt a suprising incident dat happened to me during my school life..Come to think of it wen dis happened with me i wasnt taken aback actually i never thught over it,it is like it just happened & dats it i forgot abt it & wenever i go down the memory lane dats wen i realize how come all dis happened.

Wen i was in class XI at DPS,VK i was new admit there so i didnt know many ppl there & i had been there for just 6 months wat happened was ur class teacher said to the gals dat the board in the class doesnt look nice empty so trying putting something on it..The gals came up with the idea dat they wil allot titles to everyone in the class & put it up on the board..I thught dat 6 months had passed how come they wil know everyone in the class but than i thught let it be wat difference does it make to me..and i forgot abt it a few days later they put the titles on the board & 1 of my friend told me dat i got the title "Hum kissi se kaam nahi" i didnt react but my friend said how come they gave u such a title i said i have no idea..but now wen i think over it i am mazed how come they were able to asses me in such a short time(those who know me wud sure know dat title is apt for me)..

The 2 surprising thing dat happened to me in school was in class XII it was the farewell time & i reached school to attend the farewell dressed in formals expecting nothing just completely blank as i wasnt attached emotionally to DPS so i wasnt sad dat my school was getting over..i reached school there i saw my class teacher she called me she put tilak over my forehead & than she had a surprise in store for all of us she took the pains for preparing a title for everyone in the class...she called the gal who was in class XI who was carrying the tray in which the titles lay she said something to her & i remember her reaction till now she was staring at me as i had done something dat i shdnt have maam gave me the title and it read "Gem of a Guy" dat time i had no reaction it was as if i didnt know how to react than again dis friend of mine came to me & said wat does dis mean i again said i have no idea dude,no idea..i mean i am surprised till date dat how come she gave me dis title as such she was a subject teacher in class XI and my class teacher in XII..she taught me economics and i flunked in economics thrught the terms except pre boards i mean how come she knew me as a person beats me..

NOTE:Sory ppl for stereotyping myself by writing incidents in the form of stories thugh i wud prefer to like abt more philosophical issues regarding life but some of my friends dont like it..i am hoping dat if i can bring a smile on nyone's face thrugh my articles i dat wud surely make my day so if my articles do bring a smile on ur face plz be kind enugh to tell me either personally or leave a comment..
Incident 2

Before i start describing dis incident i need to give the reader some background..

I was introduced to dis gal by my friend & we became friends...intially we had soem sms chats & than we exchanged some calls..all in all i must say dat we were not more than acquaintances atleast dat is wat i think but she kept on trying dat we become gud friends i never even once tried(dis just shows cold i am)...

Though i must say dat gal had the 2 sweetest voice i have heard till now & i even complemented her for dat...she did tell me abt my her friends(there is a reason y i am mentioning dis)...she once just told me abt dis guy friend she had who was arnd 23 & was earning big bucks but i never asked abt dat guy ever again..

She spoke to him i guess on daily basis & she did mention abt me...Dis guy wanted to know abt me so instead of asking her abt me he wanted to find out himself abt me..

With time i added the gal on yahoo messsenger so dat we cud chat..dis guy being close to her somehow cracked the password of her yahoo id..than he started to come online using her id one fine day he saw me online he started to talking to me i chatted with him assuming i was chatting with the gal..he just talked to me generally dat day like how am i?hoes colg going & stuff like dat..he did dis for a few days & on the Dday he did wat i think was like going overboard...

She or he(i am confused wat to say) started flirting wid me he kept thanking me for helping her out & i was like wen did i help u??i was thinking y is dis gal acting so weird today wats got into her??after a few moments of chatting he "proposed" to me..i was like dis gal has surely gone mad today something needs to be done..

I didnt wanted to hurt the gal by directly saying no so i choose the diplomatic way by saying i am not the rite guy for him & stuff like dat i hope the reader is getting my point..after teh rejection he or she went away abruptly...i thought dat i must have hurt the gal badly not knowing wat to do i thught let time do its work..

After a few days i saw her online & i started chatting wid her u can clearly see it dat she is till now unaware wat happened the other day...i said sorry to her for hurting her dat day & she was like wen did u hurt me??than i told her the date & time she said she wasnt online at dat time..I again thought y is the gal acting so weird again she too must have thought the same..i was getting really mad after all the denials just to drive my point home i just sent her all the chat dat i had with her or him..

Now she knew wat must have happened she said it wasnt her who did dis it must have been someone else who played dis prank on me i was now really mad i said to her dat i am not an idiot dat nyoen cud just come & walk over me..i told her to find who the person was swo dat i cud give dat a person a piece of my mind...

It took a her day or 2 to find out dat it was he who did dis...she shouted at him for doing dis atleast dat is wat she said she did...dat nite dat guy gave me a call to clear things out..

he said he was sorry for doing dis he just wanted to have some fun but he wnt kind of overboard..but i didnt beileve him so i askd him again y did he do it?tahn he said he did dis intentionally to find out my feelings towards dat gal..he wanetd to be sure before proposing to her dat none else was after her..after hearing dis my anger went away & i forgave him(thoughi shdnt have)..

Dat guy proposed to dat gal & she said yes & now they are happy but after dat incident my friendship wid dat gal has almost ended..I sometimes think y do i get involve in such "incidents"..
The Incident

I wud like to wish all the readers happy new year i hope all of them have a great yr...

this incident happened to me way back in 2005 sometime in august thugh incident is not extraordinary but it is worth sharing...

at dat time i recently entered colg so being 1 yrs we were expected to follow teh dress code & so i was following it..on the Dday i arrived in teh colg after 1 lecture we realised dat we were free for 4 hrs so me & my friends were planning to go home but the gals of ur class were planning to go someplace(they were also following the dress code)we guys kind of said yes so it was decided we wud meet up at district centre there were 4 guys intially we had 2 bikes so we reacged early & the gals were to reach by bus..we reached early & waited for them at DC..

2 more guys from ur class came before the gals arrived so wen they arrived we had something to eat after dat both groups parted in diff directions..

we gusy decided to play soem prank as soem of us were following teh dress code & soem were not so we a plan started to concieve we saw 2 gud luking gals near by it was decided dat my friend & i wud go to them & talk to them wud ask their names etc & wud say seniors dat means the guys who were nit following the dress code told us to do so..

well we went to them we asked their names they refused to tell their real names they said phoolwati & agarbatti, one was from some colg in dehradun & otehr was a calss 12 gal, they alos said its really bad dat we r being ragged afteer some chatting we came back now wat happened was dat the place where we were standing just straight ahead was the archies gallery they went in & one of tehm came out & went back in she did this thice believe everytime she came out she was luking at us one of my friend said they seem interested in us we shd go ahead & talk to them now it was decided dat we wud go in & ask them to help us choosing a card as one of teh senior who has a girl friend whose birthday is nearby..wew went in & did just dat at 1 they showed us a card which was 300 bucks we said something less expensive as we had to pay for the card while searching for teh card we were having a decent enugh chat wid them finally a card was chosen which was worth 40 bucks so i told my friend lets leave now he said it wont seem gud if we dont buy the card as they r still here being nice hearted i gave half the money(god only knows how he convinced me buying the card was a gud thing)..

as we came out we told all the story to friends in the mean time the gals from the class also came & the guys told them the story & they were just laughing..now comes the most interesting pt of the story the gals told us dat there is no pt in keeping the card so its better u give the card to them we agreed as nobody of us wanted to take the card home..well both of us didnt wanted to give the card to them as it was like going overboard but somehow after a lot of convincing we agreed we went & gave the card to them well before reading further i think reader shd try to guess wat happened who knows maybe ur guess might be true...

the gal who was in colg took the card in her hands & tore the card & threw it(believe me most of the colg gals r egoistic or maybe more practical coz i remember the schul gal was pretty cool abt it)40 rs gone down the drain we came back with sory faces & the class was laughing at us..

after dis incident i realised one thing i am not very gud tackling gals..
GOD

I think most of us as children are told abt god his existence his powers & lots more over the years as we grow everyone of us forms a diff opinion abt god i too think of him in a cretain manner which i wud like to share with reader..

I am not vey religious but i am not an athesist...well god i think is defined by the word ME by me i dont mean myself i mean each one of us i think god resides among all of us..i definitely dont believe in religion in the sense that i wud rather prefer not to follow ny religion rather than join ny religious war..i like to worship god in the manner of keeping myself happy & ppl arnd me happy..

i personally like to respect all religions & if a given a chance wud like to read the holy scriptures of all the religions & wud try to imbibe their teachings in my life..i tink god considers us as his children so he wud liek to see us happy so never be sad coz dat way u make him sad if u believe in my theory dat god exists within each one of us than u wud agree wid teh above said satement..

these days wenever ppl face a major problem in their life they tend to consult astorlogists, palmists& numerologists & many more to give solutions to their problem but they forget the basic thing dat all these sciences preach dat is too respect ur parents, elders & give love to little ones if one does so i can assure ur life wud become a lot easier..god made mothers so dat wenever he cudnt watch over u she cud take care of u..i personally feel dat mothers are the strengths of most ppl on earth..in quran a particular verse regarding mother is said thrice & than their is mention abt the father dis clearly shows dat 1 shd respects mothers 3 times more than fathers..

well a truly happy life can only be achieved wen one lives it for happines for others dis is wat all religions preach but in their own languages..god wanted us to love all human beings & to live peacefully wid one another..

the reader here might say y the write is writing so much does he actually do ny of these things???well to tell u the truth i realised dis only a few days back so i am writing it here & i have started to apply some of these things in my own life..i strongly believe dat one shd do his own duty sincerely widout caring wat others might say who knows ppl arnd u too might get influenced & start following the righteous path..

just yesterday only my mom took me to a place after a little bit of walking mom told me here is teh palce where her nana live mom said at she wanted to meet him i said mom not today but some other day mom insisted so i finally gave in we went to meet him he is 90 yrs old wen my mom met him he was so happy dat he started crying they were tears of happiness as well as sadness he was happy to see dat someone cared for him & sad coz not many ppl visit him he is lonely these days..his own family just living downstairs dont talk him much they just give him food they wont even spend time wid him dat was wen i thanked god dat i let my mom meet his nana i am really happy dat he was happy i realised dat there is more to it to life than just money & fame it is these small things which make 1 really happy i wud like to say 1 thing dat by doing a noble deed the satisfaction one gets is boundless just try feeling it..
Life

well acc to me life is gud as if one thinks that way it is gud but i belong to category who just cant think life is gud even if i try to convince myself its gud it just doesnt work out dat way...there are phases in everyones life when he has to sturggle to survive this is where ur mindset is tested if ur strong enugh u wont wilt under pressure..thsi phase of life is when u get to know which ppl stand by u coz i am very sure reader must have gone thurgh dis kind of phase..

ppl are always there wen ur happy but wen ur sad dats wen u get to know who really care abt u..reader must be thinking y am i talking abt dis coz everyone knows dis but let me tell u some emotional fools wud turn to the same person again for help who had left him wen he was in troubel i want to make dat reader realise abt his mistake..

as in gita it is righlty said dat "one's ownself is one enemy & one's own self is one's friend" & i think dis is very true..well if ur really lucky to have a friend who has stuck to u thrughout ur life than u belong to a really luck category but generally dis doesnt happen..wenver ur in a problem someone wud surely be there to help u out but it wil generally be a diff person for diff problems...dis is why the mind is vey imp i think to survive in dis world of hypcorisy one shd never get depndent on nyone neither emotionally nor physically..

those who tend to get dependent on others get weak emotionally thus become more vulnerable
..acc to me freindship these days is more kind of knowing ppl whom u can use & throw & if u have been really gud to someone than there is a chance u might get help wen needed otherwise ur on ur own..

living alone is difficult but i think it is better to be alone than vulnerable being alone doesnt mean dat becoming cutoff from the world i mean be careful enugh not to share all ur thughts & secrets to everyone or even whom u think is ur best friend..never let the other person know ur thughts & emotions until & unless u really want to share wid them..

living alone u tend to discover ur self one tends to know the importnace if the line silence is golden..u tend to develop the habit of speaking less thus wen u speak ur opinions shall always be valued..

theres lot more to say on dis topic but i cant write nymore feeling a little tired today wud surely complete it some other day..but i wil end by saying be happy as great mind can be fully developed wen one is happy..
<img width='1' height='1'
